1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream or IMO
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups flour
Cream together sugar and shortening. Add eggs, baking soda, salt, baking powder, and vanilla to creamed mixture. Add flour alternately with sour cream. Roll and cut into desired shapes. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Frost with your favorite vanilla frosting.
