Sausage and Rice Casserole

1 lb. sausage
1/2 large onion, diced
1 pkg. Lipton noodle soup
1 1/2 cups raw rice
3 cups boiling water

Brown meat and onions; drain off excess grease. Pour boiling water over rice and soup; add meat mixture. Place in 9x13-inch pan, cover with foil, and bake 1 hour at 375 degrees.
