Mash together:
1 cup soft cooked pinto beans
1/4 to 1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
Melt in a double boiler:
6 oz. unsweetened chocolate
6 tablespoons butter
Pour the hot chocolate mixture into the beans.  Stir until slightly thickened.  Work in 2 pounds powdered sugar.  Knead with hands, spread into slightly buttered pan.  Refrigerate.  Makes 3-1/2 pounds.  Nuts or raisins may be added if desired.
