1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Bake in greased 9x13-inch pan at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until done when tested with toothpick. Spread with coconut icing; broil until frosting bubbles, taking care not to burn.

6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) butter
1/4 cup cream or evaporated milk
3/4 cups nuts, coarsely chopped
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
